Ask ten people in India what a hearing aid costs and you will get ten answers, because one bought a single basic BTE for ₹15,000 and another paid ₹8 lakh for a pair of rechargeable flagships. Both are right. This guide puts the seven price lists we work from side by side: Signia, Phonak, Widex, Oticon, Starkey, ReSound and Bernafon. Every figure is an MRP from the brand’s own sheet.
| At a Glance ✓ A single hearing aid costs from ₹10,990 (a Signia primax BTE) to about ₹4.5 lakh (a Phonak Audéo Sphere 90 or ReSound Vivia 9). ✓ A flagship pair runs from ₹7,99,990 (Signia and Bernafon) to ₹8,89,995 (ReSound Vivia 9), a spread of only about ₹90,000. ✓ The cheapest rechargeable pair is a Bernafon Viron 1 at ₹69,990, then Signia Orion C&G 50 at ₹70,470 with its charger. ✓ Signia, Phonak, Widex and ReSound quote kits. Oticon and Starkey quote per unit and give the charger free on a pair. |
The Short Answer: What Hearing Aids Cost in India
| Brand | Lowest MRP on list | Top single aid | Flagship pair |
| Signia | ₹10,990 (Fast P BTE) | ₹4,09,990 (Pure C&G BCT 7IX) | ₹7,99,990 (kit) |
| Phonak | ₹33,000 (Terra) | ₹4,55,500 (Audéo Sphere 90) | ₹8,75,000 (kit) |
| Widex | ₹23,990 (Enjoy 30) | ₹4,10,000 (Allure 440) | ₹8,00,000 (kit) |
| Oticon | ₹21,000 (Geno 2 BTE) | ₹4,25,000 (Intent 1) | ₹8,50,000 (2 units) |
| Starkey | ₹20,000 (Muse 1000) | ₹4,00,000 (Genesis AI 24 ITC R) | ₹8,00,000 (2 units) |
| ReSound | ₹21,995 (Key 188 / 177 BTE) | ₹4,55,495 (Vivia 9 with charger) | ₹8,89,995 (kit) |
| Bernafon | ₹26,990 (Entra A1) | ₹4,24,990 (Encanta 400) | ₹7,99,990 (2 units) |
The lowest figures are not like for like. Signia’s ₹10,990 is a basic BTE from its older primax range. Compare pair against pair too: Phonak’s Audéo I90-R is ₹3,47,000 for one aid with a charger, but a pair kit is ₹6,70,000 rather than ₹6,94,000, because the charger is counted once.
Cheapest Rechargeable Pair, Brand by Brand
Most first-time buyers now ask for a rechargeable hearing aid. This is the lowest-priced rechargeable pair on each list, charger included.
| Brand | Model | Pair price (₹) |
| Bernafon | Viron 1 miniRITE T R, 2 units | 69,990 |
| Signia | Orion C&G 50, 2 × ₹32,990 plus charger ₹4,490 | 70,470 |
| Widex | Magnify BTE R D 50, kit | 82,990 |
| Starkey | Livio 1000 RIC R, 2 × ₹42,000, charger free | 84,000 |
| ReSound | Key 361 RIE kit (Savi 2 MiniRIE is the same from August 2026) | 94,995 |
| Oticon | Ruby 2, 2 × ₹48,000, charger free | 96,000 |
| Phonak | Terra+ RIC-R kit | 1,04,000 |
The whole group sits inside a ₹35,000 band, so the difference is in features, not price. Check the list before you buy, and see our page on Bluetooth hearing aids for what streaming adds. At the top, our AI hearing aids page and AI technology explainer cover what the premium processing does.

What Pushes a Hearing Aid’s Price Up
Level does most of the work. On Widex Moment a rechargeable sRIC costs ₹80,000 at level 110 and ₹3,60,000 at 440, for the same body and battery. Style matters less: Widex Moment 110 is ₹70,000 as a receiver-in-canal, behind-the-ear, in-the-canal or completely-in-canal model, and several brands price in-the-ear and invisible-in-canal shells the same too. Our guide to invisible CIC and IIC aids and the invisible hearing aids page show who they suit.
Rechargeability adds a little (Bernafon Entra B10 is ₹39,990 on a battery and ₹42,990 rechargeable) and accessories add more: Phonak’s Roger On 3 is ₹1,25,000. Standard digital hearing aids at the entry level work well without any of that.
Warranty, GST and Buying Online
Warranty runs from 2 to 4 years by brand and level, and Bernafon covers every model for 24 months. Phonak and Starkey both state that aids sold online are not covered by warranty, so the seller matters as much as the price. Hearwell fits and services what it sells, and the contact page is the quickest way to ask for a quote.
